Amber is a beautiful mixed-breed girl who arrived at Petersburg Animal Care & Control at the end of January 2025. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find the home she’s been waiting for.

Amber can be a little shy when you first meet her, but once she feels safe, her true personality shines. She is deeply affectionate, fiercely loyal, and very attentive to her person. Amber listens well, enjoys guidance, and forms strong bonds with the people she trusts. She is the kind of dog who wants to be near you, tuned in and eager to please.

Amber would love a home where she can be the center of someone’s world. While she would prefer not to live with other dogs, she does not seek out conflict and is not reactive. She simply thrives best as a one-and-only companion where she can relax and fully settle in.
