My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tristan, a 65-pound bundle of love who’s 3 years young and full of charm. He’s a total foodie, which makes him a quick and eager learner—perfect for anyone looking to continue his training journey. Tristan is affectionate and mostly house-trained, always ready for snuggles and quality time with his favorite humans.

He would thrive in a calm, suburban home where he can enjoy peaceful walks and cozy afternoons without all the hustle and bustle of the city. Tristan gets along with other dogs, especially when introductions are taken slow and steady—he’s just working on building his social confidence. And while he might have a lot to say, he’s simply a talkative pup who likes to keep the conversation going. No drama, just a few barks and sniffs to say hello.

Tristan has made wonderful progress and is so ready for his next chapter. With a little patience and a lot of love, he’ll be the most loyal and loving companion. If you're looking for a sweet, smart, and snuggly best friend, Tristan might just be your perfect match.

More about this rescue

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form.

We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:
•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.
•We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them.
•We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way.
•We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Please help us help the animals!
