Here's what the humans have to say about me:
💙 Meet Fred
If ever there were a dog who deserved a line of people waiting to meet him… it’s Fred.
Fred is a sweet, sweet boy with a heart big enough to power this whole shelter. His photos don’t even come close to capturing how truly gorgeous he is. In person he’s stunning — all soft eyes, goofy grins and that “pick me, pick me!” charm that makes you melt on the spot.
We honestly can’t understand why he’s still here. He’s beautiful. He’s silly. He’s amazing. He’s everything you’d want in a best friend on four legs. Fred just hasn’t met his people yet… but maybe that’s you.
He’s ready for walks, adventures, couch cuddles, car rides, treats, more treats and all the love you can offer. Fred doesn’t need much — just someone to see what we see.
Come meet him. Come fall in love.
Come get Fred. He’s so ready to go home. 🐾

More about this rescue
The mission of Castoff Pet Rescue is to save and nurture homeless dogs; to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes; to foster responsible pet care; to control overpopulation in our community through spay/neuter programs; and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.
