My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Finch’s Compatibility:
Dogs - Yes, bring yours to meet him!
Cats - No cats, please
Kids - Best with kids 8 and up

Finch is young, goofy, and full of personality. His little teef stick out when he smiles, and he has a playful spark that makes everyone who meets him fall in love. He came to us as a stray, but he’s clearly been perfecting the art of being adorable for a while now, and is crate trained!

He has energy to burn and a big love for toys, especially anything he can tug. Tug-of-war is his favorite game, and he’ll happily show off his skills to anyone who’s willing to play. He also loves to zoom around the yard, chase toys, and soak up attention from his people.

Finch is looking for a cat-free home where he can feel safe and loved. He may be able to live with another pup, and we’ll do a meet and greet at the shelter to be sure it’s a good match. Finch will do best with older kids (around 8 and up) and a family who understands that food is very exciting for him. With patient people ready to cheer him on, he’ll keep learning and growing into the amazing companion he’s meant to be.

Finch is a fun, playful pup with a great smile and a heart full of love. Come meet him and see those teef in person!

More about this shelter

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.

This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
