Meet Keno: Your Future Furry Friend
About Keno
Keno is an adorable 8-month-old black lab mix who is looking for his forever home. This sweet pup has been fully vetted and is up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. Keno was brought to a mobile clinic as a tiny puppy with his brother, and luckily, Barking Mad Animal Rescue (BMAR) was there to take him under their wing. He’s spent his early months growing up in the care of the rescue and is now ready to find a loving family.
Keno's Personality
Keno is a delightful and friendly boy who gets along great with both people and other dogs. He is attentive and alert, making him a wonderful companion who is always ready for some fun. Although he is not hyperactive, Keno is always willing to play and enjoys spending time with his favorite toys and treats.
Training and Behavior
While Keno is still young, he is making great progress with his training. He walks well on a leash and is currently undergoing crate training. His eagerness to learn and please makes him an excellent candidate for further training sessions at home.
Adoption Information
Keno is available for adoption through Barking Mad Animal Rescue. If you’re interested in bringing this sweet pup into your home, please fill out the application provided by BMAR. By doing so, you can be first in line to welcome Keno into your life and provide him with the loving family he deserves.

BMAR is a No-Kill facility: a place of safety for healthy adoptable animals, a home for the homeless, a haven for the mistreated, neglected, or abused animals of Sabine & surrounding counties. BMAR also runs a sanctuary for those deemed unadoptible due to medical and behavior issues.
100% Volunteer Rescue. We have no animal control, Humane Society, or SPCA operating in our area leaving animals in dire straights.
BMAR is dedicated to the prevention of cruelty & abuse to all animals & livestock.
We currently only adopt to states and Canada where we have a network in place to monitor animals and help with problems.
BMAR backs it's dogs for life and will take back no matter how long and at any time if circumstance arise and you cannot keep your pet.
