Peluchin arrived at San Diego Humane Society’s El Cajon campus as a stray, and when no one came to claim him, we welcomed him as a Frosted Face. His name means “stuffed animal” in Spanish, and one look at this adorable little fluffball will tell you why!
Peluchin is estimated to be 8 years old and weighs 13.5 pounds—the perfect size for lap snuggles and tagging along on adventures! He is a perfect co-pilot in the car, riding calmly, quietly, and often dozes off longer trips.
Peluchin went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn what he's like in a home setting. His Fling Mom reports:
"Peluchin is such a little character! He loves sleeping in his crate and is reluctant to leave it in the early morning. He becomes happy and excited to go on his walk. He loves all dogs and people he meets along the way.
Peluchin spends the day napping or following his human around. He gets the zoomies now and then but tends to be mostly mellow and doesn't bark. He is eager to sit on a lap and snooze. Peluchin is a true pleasure to have around the house!
Peluchin is fine home alone. I always have a camera on my fosters and can watch them when I'm gone. He was perfectly content to sleep.
Peluchin needs warm-up time when meeting new people. Within a week, he was a whole different dog than the one I picked up to fling on the first day. He is a little lover and very easy to have around."
Peluchin is back on-site and ready for his forever home. Might it be with you?
