Gabe arrived at South LA’s Chesterfield Square Shelter as a stray, and sadly, no one came to claim him. On November 24th, we welcomed this cutie into our program as a Frosted Face, and just a few days later, he was scooped up for a two-week Frosted Fling! This special break will help us learn what Gabe is like in a home environment while giving him a chance to decompress.
His foster mom shared this wonderful update:
“Gabe is on day 3 of his fling! He is sweet, calm, and quiet. He is very playful like a puppy now and really loves his walks. He loves squeaky toys, Nylabones, playing chase in the yard and enrichment balls with kibble inside.
Gabe has no bad habits! He is great in the car, house-trained, and doesn't bark. He can hop up onto the sofa but usually uses the dog stairs.
Gabe greeted us this morning with a wag of his little stubby tail!”
