Foxy is a stunning 2-year-old spayed female Staffordshire Terrier with a beautiful reddish-brown and white coat and a personality as bright as her name! This happy, social girl loves being around people and wants nothing more than to be included in whatever you’re doing. If you’re looking for a dog who greets you with excitement and affection every time, Foxy is your girl.
Foxy is an energetic, outdoorsy pup who thrives on activity and adventure. She enjoys going for walks, zooming around the yard, and soaking up the sunshine. When she gets excited, she’ll hop around the yard like a little bunny, which is just as adorable as it sounds! One of her absolute favorite things in the world is playing with a toy attached to the end of a stick—she could chase it for hours and have the time of her life.
Because of her energy level, Foxy would do best in a home with a fenced-in backyard and an active family who can keep up with her playful spirit. She can be dog selective, so a meet and greet is required to ensure a good match with any canine companions. Foxy is also a total foodie—treats make her tail wag nonstop and are a surefire way to win her heart.
If you’re ready for a fun-loving, affectionate, and energetic companion who will bring joy, laughter, and plenty of playful moments into your home, Foxy is waiting to meet you!

More about this shelter
The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.
Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.
Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
