My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Foxy, a stunning 2-year-old spayed female Staffordshire Terrier with a beautiful reddish-brown and white coat and a personality as bright as her name! This social butterfly LOVES being around people and wants nothing more than to be included in whatever you’re doing. If you’re looking for a companion who’s always happy to see you, Foxy is your girl.

Foxy is an energetic, outdoorsy pup who enjoys going for walks, running around the yard, and soaking up sunshine. She’d thrive with an active family who can match her enthusiasm for adventure. Because of her energy level, she would likely do best in a house with a fenced-in backyard where she can safely play and explore. She can be dog selective, so a meet and greet is required to ensure a perfect fit with any canine friends. One thing is certain, though—Foxy is a total foodie. Treats make her tail wag nonstop, and they’re an excellent way to win her heart!

If you’re ready for a fun, loving, energetic companion who will bring joy, excitement, and lots of affection into your home, Foxy is waiting to meet you!

More about this shelter

The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.

Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.

Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
