My Journey I was rescued from the streets of National City by one of our Smittens volunteers.
My Social Life Other cats: I may enjoy the company of other friendly cats with proper introductions. Dogs: I haven’t met dogs yet, but calm, respectful ones might be okay with time. Kids: I could do well with gentle, cat-savvy humans who understand how to interact kindly.
My Personality Friendly, curious, and affectionate. I enjoy being around my humans and often seek out interaction, whether it’s gentle pets, hanging out nearby, or simply being part of the action. I balance social time with moments of relaxation and independence.
I Enjoy… Spending time with my people Pets and attention on day one. Interactive play and enrichment Lounging near my humans and keeping them company
I’m Not a Fan Of… I appreciate being treated with respect and don’t love being rushed or overwhelmed. Like most cats, I do best when my boundaries are noticed and honored.
What Makes Me Special I`m a large, handsome grey tabby with the sweetest, most irresistible face. And, I have a kink at the base of my tail.
My Perfect Home I’d thrive in a home where I can be part of everyday life—whether that’s relaxing nearby, joining in playtime, or soaking up affection. I’m adaptable and would do well with adopters who enjoy a friendly, engaged feline companion.

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
