My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Popcorn entered the San Diego Humane Society as a stray. When he wasn't claimed, we welcomed in as a Frosted Face. Popcorn is estimated to be 10 years old and weighs 16 lbs. His super sweet and mellow personality makes him a companion you can take anywhere without worry!

Popcorn does great around other dogs of all sizes, doesn’t react to being barked at, and is calm and quiet in public settings. Popcorn has been a superstar when representing Frosted Faces Foundation at community events with lots of people and dogs are around.

Popcorn has been living in a foster home since September, and his fosters have only wonderful things to say about him:

Popcorn is a total love bug and so easygoing. He asks for very little: a comfy bed, some pets, and time outdoors. When home alone, Popcorn naps the day away. During baths, he’s totally cooperative.

Popcorn is low energy most of the time, except when on walks in forest and mountains-- he gets really excited and wants to keep going!

At mealtime, Popcorn is a good eater but eats very slowly - so slowly that the other dogs try to sneak bites of his food, and he politely lets them. Giving Popcorn his own quiet spot to eat at his own pace would be ideal.

Popcorn's calm demeanor make him the perfect companion for many types of families. He is incredibly lovable and very low-maintenance. If you’re looking for a cuddly, gentle friend who will bring love and joy to your home, Popcorn might be the one for you!
