My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jellybean — The Clown-Diva Cat Superstar!

Personality: Big, Bold, and Hilarious

If you’re looking for a cat who will make every day brighter (and a little sillier), Jellybean is your girl! This friendly, high-energy sweetheart follows you everywhere—yes, everywhere—and insists on supervising all your activities. Laundry? Supervised. Cooking? Assisted. Zoom meeting? She’s the new manager.

Jellybean is the perfect mix of tomboy playfulness and glamorous diva. She happily rocks costumes like she’s auditioning for her own movie, then immediately zooms off to chase toys, sprint on her cat exercise wheel, or pal around with another energetic cat. Truly, she’s an entertainer at heart!

What Jellybean Loves:
-Chasing balls, toys, and anything that moves
-Playing with other active cats
-Wearing costumes (seriously!)
-Showing off her athletic skills on the cat wheel
-Being the center of attention

Her Ideal Home:
-Children 8+ who understand gentle, respectful cat play (no toddlers, please—Jellybean is too enthusiastic for that)
-Another energetic cat friend would be a big bonus
-Possibly a dog, as long as introductions are slow and the dog matches her lively vibe

Jellybean is equal parts comedian, athlete, and tiny starlet. If you want a loving shadow who keeps you laughing and turns your house into a mini movie set, this quirky queen is ready to steal your heart. Adopt Jellybean and bring home your own little celebrity!

Our Adoption Process

We have a clear and well-structured process in place to find the best possible homes for our animals in need. This process begins with you filling out our pre-adoption questionnaire designed to collect important details and insights from potential adopters and answer any questions you may have. Once complete, we move forward by setting up a visit for you to meet our cats in person. One of our Adoption Coordinators will provide a tour of our facility and introduce you to our available cats. Our adoption coordinators have extensive knowledge of every cat and can help answer questions about individual personalities, habits, and special needs. Should you decide to choose a specific cat during this meeting, we then schedule a home visit to deliver your new pet, ensure it’s a safe and suitable environment, and provide a care kit for the new pet. To support a smooth transition, we also make a follow-up call about a week later to see how everything is going to ensure both the adopter and the cat are settling in well together.

Go meet their pets

Please contact us at adopt@azshfa.org for information on our wonderful kitties. Interested adopters should complete an Adoption Request Form located at https://www.safehavencats.org/site-visit-form-1

An adoption volunteer will be in touch with you after review of your pre-adoption questionnaire. We will then set up an appointment to meet our kitties at the shelter.

We do not do same day adoptions.

More about this rescue

Safe Haven for Animals was founded in late 2004 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill shelter, with the mission of providing as many cats as possible with a safe and happy home, preventing untimely endings to their lives. There is no time limit on any cat's stay, ensuring that euthanasia is a last resort reserved only for those whose health conditions are irreparable. The core purpose of the organization is clear: to save the lives of cats. The joy of the shelter comes from the adoption process, where our goal is to unite each cat with a loving family, thereby enriching both the lives of the animals and the people who welcome them.
