My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Woof* I`m in a foster home! Email my foster caregiver to meet me: rfugardi6@gmail.com

Bubba sounds like such a tough, rugged name but our precious Bubba is a bit unsure of the world at the moment! He is a sweet, precious pup who is working so hard to find his confidence. We just know that with love and understanding (and yummies!) that this sweet boy will bloom! He seems to enjoy being close to his people for security and he finds comfort with gentle talk. Can you help Bubba please? He so wants a mellow, quiet home where he can feel safe and loved. Meet this sweetheart today!

More about this shelter

At the Humane Rescue Alliance, we honor more than 150 years of commitment to protecting animals, supporting families, and advocating for positive change to create a world where all animals can thrive. HRA serves as a national leader and local champion for all animals.

With a people-focused, community-based approach, we treat every animal as an individual and emphasize specialized care for both animals and their families. Through our two campuses in the District of Columbia and New Jersey, we are the largest animal services provider in our region – touching the lives of tens of thousands of animals annually through direct rescue, care, and community-based services. Our teams find solutions to both small and big problems, from providing direct care to an animal in crisis to tackling systemic barriers to affordable, pet-friendly housing.
