My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Charlie, our sweet 9-year-old pug mix who is officially available for adoption! Charlie weighs 19lbs

Charlie is the definition of a gentle soul. He’s incredibly sweet, loves being near his people, and has the cutest little face that’s impossible not to fall in love with. He’s potty trained, does well in a crate, and gets along great with other dogs. He also does pretty well with cats, making him a wonderful fit for many types of homes.

This handsome boy is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered — all he needs now is a family to call his own.

If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion who’s ready to settle into your life and fill it with joy, Charlie is your guy.

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, foster-based and volunteer-run rescue, with a small sanctuary space for senior dogs who are unadoptable or in need of lifelong hospice care. Whether they’re with us for a short stay or for the rest of their lives, they are family.

We specialize in saving senior dogs who are often the first to be passed over and the last to be helped. Our dogs come from:

Scary, overcrowded shelters where they’re at high risk of euthanasia
Homes where their owners have passed away or entered long-term care
Situations of neglect, abandonment, or urgent need

They may come to us broken, scared, or sick—but they leave knowing love, safety, and peace.
