This helps San Diego Humane Society - San Diego Campus with pet care costs.
How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by a community member as a stray on December 5, 2025.
Why this pet is the one for you:
Tiger is an easygoing, friendly, wiggly guy. He came to us as a stray, but from the moment he arrived, he showed loose, relaxed body language, soft eyes, and a happy interest in people. Tiger happily approaches the kennel front, allows leashing, and walks nicely on leash, making him an enjoyable companion right from the start.
This social guy loves attention and is very food motivated, which makes bonding and training fun and rewarding. During handling and care, Tiger remained cooperative and recovered quickly, returning to his relaxed, balanced, tail-wagging self. He enjoys human interaction, seeks affection, and seems comfortable being guided, even in new situations.
Tiger would do well in a home that's ready to enjoy his affectionate nature and help him settle into a routine. While we're still getting to know him and learning more about his preferences, he's already shown himself to be a friendly, resilient dog who's eager to connect. Tiger is ready to trade shelter life for a loving home where he can soak up attention, snacks, and all the good things that come with being someone's best friend.
At SDHS:
This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Tiger is now ready for his new home!
