Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Dill Davidson, a shy but sweet 5-month-old shepherd pup with a gentle heart and a playful spark. He's still getting used to the big world and can be nervous at first, but with treats and calm energy, he'll warm up and show his wiggly, curious side. Dill loves playing with his kennelmate, exploring the yard, and cuddling up with people he trusts. He's not housetrained yet and still learning how to walk on a leash-right now he tends to freeze or plant himself if he feels tension-but he allows the leash to be put on and can be picked up and carried when needed. In his kennel, he settles quickly and may bark at passing dogs or strangers, especially if his kennelmate does. He may also guard food from his buddy, so a bit of structure around mealtimes will help him feel secure. Dill is the braver of his puppy pair, but he'll still benefit from patient adopters who move slowly, offer plenty of treats, and give him time to build confidence. If you're looking for a tender, timid puppy ready to grow and flourish with love, Dill Davidson is eager to start that journey with you.
