My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you’re looking for a slam dunk this holiday season, there’s no easier choice to make than adding sweet senior Alley Oop to your family! On the younger side of senior-dom, this little lady has the agility and maneuverability you’d expect from such an auspicious name. Alley Oop also has supermodel good looks, this creamy cutie is said to be a Shiba mix, which means she has an enigmatic expression that seems to suggest she knows just a bit more than you do. Her tail also replicates an Alley Oop in miniature, curling into a perfect loop and wagging happily in accordance with her mood. If you’re looking for a phenomenal pup with the skills to pay the bills, check out Alley Oop today!

Submit Application

Please submit an adoption questionnaire for the mutt(s) you are interested in. We will be in touch within 24 hours to connect!

2.

Meet the Pet

If you know who you're interested in, we'll arrange a meeting in person or virtually. If you're still browsing, come to an adoption event!

3.

Take the Pet Home

If you'd like to adopt we have a short finalization process and then you get to take your new dog home!

Additional adoption info

All of our senior mutts are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given flea/tick/dewormer medication. Regular adoptions are typically $250, and there is no adoption fee for senior adopters and Hospice adoptions, though we love donations to help pay it forward for the next mutt!

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

If you know who you're interested in, fill out our questionnaire at muttville.org/how_to_adopt and we'll arrange a meeting either at our HQ or virtually with your mutt's foster parent. (Many of our lucky mutts live in foster homes!)

If you're still browsing, stop by our extraordinary new home at 750 Florida St. during open hours Tuesday through Sunday 11am-4pm, or come to an adoption event and meet a lot of dogs at once!
