🐾 Meet Mason

9 weeks old | 9 lbs | Male | Gentle, Sweet Puppy

Mason is a little puppy with a quiet beginning. He was found alone and abandoned in a crate outside of the shelter in Tennessee. Luckily, he was found by an amazing volunteer who got him on the December transport with OFR, and he has been settling into his New York foster home beautifully.

Because Mason is still very young, he’s just beginning to learn about the world. He’s soft-eyed, gentle, and observant, taking things in at his own pace. Like any puppy his age, he will need patience, structure, and guidance as he learns potty training, routines, and basic manners.

Mason is at the perfect age to grow into a confident, loving companion with the right support. He’s looking for a home that understands puppies are a blank slate, full of potential, curiosity, and promise.

OFR wants to be sure you and a prospective pet are the best match. We set-up meet and greets at the foster home to make sure it's love!

Additional adoption info

Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.

Based in Rochester, NY our mission is to help animals find the right person to love and care for them. We rescue an estimated 550 dogs and 330 cats, annually, and that number is growing!
