My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I was pulled as a kitten from a high kill shelter having been hit by a car. My hind leg was all messed up and needed surgery (a pin in my femur, and an FHO on that same leg).
I can walk and run perfectly now!
But during the healing and recovery, I was diagnosed with FIP, a deadly inflammatory condition, which there is luckily treatment for now.

Now, after all of that, I`m fully grown and healthy and just perfection. My foster even wanted to adopt me (but has too many pets).
I get along well with other animals and am just the perfect gentleman. I love people and toys and have so much personality!
I`m so grateful to have been saved, and can`t wait to spend the rest of my ..... 7 lives with you!

More about this rescue

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
