Tanya is a very sweet, intelligent little gal. At 20lbs, Tanya is a great sized dog for couch snuggles and going for walks! She gets along well with other dogs, but may prefer to be in a home with dogs she can play with! If you have another dog, we always recommend bringing them along to meet. Tanya is ready to be tuckered out with a lot of fun and love, and she`ll always stand by her man (or woman)!

More about this shelter
Our shelter had it's beginnings in the mid 90's and formally became a nonprofit organization in 2001. The dream of Lee and Sophia DiClemente has grown to be the largest no-kill animal shelter in New Mexico. Lee passed in 2010, but Sophia carries on with the support of a small staff, a large number of volunteers, and numerous donors - large and small.
