My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jet and Diamond are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

Hi, I’m Jet
I’m one half of the twins, a sleek little shadow with long black fur that shines when the light hits just right. If you think you can tell me apart from my sister, good luck. Even my foster has to squint. I’ve got a tiny bit of silvery gray tucked into the crack of my neck, but Diamond has more, so that’s her giveaway.
I’m friendly, playful, and always ready for action. Sitting on laps is not really my thing (yet!), but pick me up and I’m fine with that. Petting and brushing are great too, especially when I finally slow down for a moment. I can be a little reserved sometimes, but once the toys come out, I’m all in.
My favorite games are tag and wrestling with Diamond. Everything is a toy. Strings, springs, ball-in-track toys, shadows, air. I run full speed until I suddenly power down and fall asleep wherever I land. I get along well with other cats and use the litter box like a champ, though clumping litter is still new and sometimes too tempting not to play in.
I’m not much of a cuddler yet. I’d rather zoom, leap, and chase. A home that loves playtime will be my kind of place.
Diamond and I are inseparable. We’re true twins in looks, energy, and spirit. We keep each other entertained, burn off our endless kitten energy together, and collapse into nap piles side by side. If you’re looking for double the play, double the laughs, and two matching black fluff rockets, we’re your pair.
If your home has room for tag games, toy explosions, and synchronized zoomies, we’re ready to move in.

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
