My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Diamond and Jet are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

Hi, I’m Diamond
I’m the other twin, equally fluffy, equally black, and equally unstoppable. I have a little more gray-white hiding at the base of my neck, which is how you can tell I’m me and not Jet. Otherwise, we’re basically carbon copies with matching energy levels set permanently to “go.”
I’m friendly and curious, though I can be shy at first. Once I warm up, it’s game on. I don’t sit on laps (yet!), but I do enjoy being picked up briefly, and I love pets and brushing. Playing is my favorite thing in the world. Tag with Jet is elite entertainment, and we race around like tiny tasmanian devils until we crash.
I love string toys, springs, ball tracks, and wrestling with my sister. Scratching posts of all kinds are approved. I use the litter box well, even if I occasionally forget it’s not a sandbox. I haven’t met kids yet, but I think I’d do best with children who enjoy interactive play rather than lots of handling.
Cuddling can wait. Right now, I’m busy being a kitten.
Jet and I are inseparable. We’re true twins in looks, energy, and spirit. We keep each other entertained, burn off our endless kitten energy together, and collapse into nap piles side by side. If you’re looking for double the play, double the laughs, and two matching black fluff rockets, we’re your pair.
If your home has room for tag games, toy explosions, and synchronized zoomies, we’re ready to move in.

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
