My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mr. Milo! 🐾💙
Mr. Milo is a sweet 1-year-and-2-month-old male brown tabby with a gentle, shy personality. This nice boy has clearly had a rough start and can be nervous at first, but with patience and understanding, he reveals his truly affectionate and loving nature.

Milo is looking for a calm, quiet home where he can feel safe and gradually build trust. Once he settles in, he becomes a devoted, gentle companion who enjoys gentle pets, soft snuggles, and simply being near his people.

Mr. Milo is ready for his forever home—a patient, loving family who will give him the time, care, and reassurance he needs. With his sweet temperament and quiet charm, Milo is sure to bring love, comfort, and gentle companionship to the right family who will help him feel safe and cherished. 🐱

More about this shelter

The Gulf Coast Humane Society is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization dedicated to serving the animals and community of Southwest Florida. We receive no federal, state, or county funding, nor do we receive financial support from the Humane Society of the United States. Instead, our lifesaving work is made possible through the generosity of individual donations, grants, bequests, and community fundraising efforts.

As a no kill shelter, Gulf Coast Humane Society is committed to providing compassionate care for unwanted, neglected, and abandoned animals. We never euthanize due to space constraints or the length of time an animal has been in our care. Our mission is to give every animal the second chance they deserve in a safe and loving environment.
