My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This almost 15 year old gentleman has been surrendered twice in the past couple of years due to unforeseen circumstances so likes to know where his person is at all times. He will follow you wherever you go and find a comfy place to nap nearby.
Oscar has a very distinct old-man raspy voice and when he wants attention, he’ll meow and stare longingly at you. No area is off limits for pets and he’ll start to drool a little if he really gets into it. His favourite is rubbing his chin on your knuckles.
Oscar is a bit of a picky eater and he will always let you know when he’s hungry by meowing. He likes having somebody nearby when eating and would make a great meal companion. Oscar is on medication for his kidneys and has no problems eating his meds mixed into his food every night.
In the evening, Oscar will follow you into bed where he’ll stay all night nestled at your feet. He doubles as an alarm clock and will let you know when it’s time to get up for food by nuzzling his face on your hand or dropping his signature meow.
If you’re looking for a doting companion, Oscar is your man

More about this rescue

VOKRA’s mission is to end cat overpopulation and homelessness. We rescue, heal, then place cats - first in our network of foster homes, then in carefully matched, loving, forever homes. We are a passionate, volunteer-driven charity with extensive cat care experience. We believe that no kill is the only responsible approach to rescue, that Trap-Neuter-Return works and that cats are AWESOME!
