My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gingy is an orange domestic shorthair male tabby who is approximately 2 years old.

Meet Gingy! Gingy is a social, loving boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He craves attention and truly enjoys being involved in whatever his people are doing. If you’re looking for a cat who wants to be part of your daily life, Gingy is your guy.

Gingy is extremely food motivated and will happily make sure you never forget mealtime! He has lots to say and isn’t shy about sharing his opinions. His intelligence really shines, and he would love interactive toys and food puzzles that let him put his clever mind to work. Playtime and enrichment are some of his favourite parts of the day.

Gingy is sweet, playful, and full of charm, lighting up the room and bringing affection wherever he goes. He’s the kind of cat who will greet you, talk to you, and remind you that life is better with a little fun and a lot of love.

Gingy would likely do well in a home that can give him plenty of attention and stimulation and will likely do well with other cats or dogs with a proper, slow introduction.

Gingy is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. He is FIV and FeLV negative and on parasite preventions. His adoption fee is $300. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
