My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jaguar is a sweet, curious bunny who has been steadily blossoming with time and patience. Although shy at first, after spending some time getting to know people around her, she will happily hop over to say hello, lounge contentedly on laps, and make everyone laugh with her joyful vertical jumps. She loves daily free-roam time and will absolutely let you know when she’s ready to explore, so an adopter prepared for bunny-proofing (especially wooden furniture!) is a must.

Jaguar thrives with a spacious pen or exercise area paired with regular out-of-pen enrichment or even 100% free roaming. Her diet should include unlimited grass hay, a measured amount of quality pellets, fresh greens, and constant access to water. Don`t forget plenty of rabbit-safe toys to keep her entertained and to give her something to sink her teeth into!

With room to roam, things to investigate, and gentle companionship, Jaguar will make a delightful and entertaining addition to any home.

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
