Chuckie is a survivor . He is a former outdoor kitty taken in by a local rescue which suffered a fire loss. He survived the fire, but suffered smoke inhalation . Castaway Critters took him into their care immediately . He was treated for smoke inhalation and made a full recovery. He gets along well with other kittens , cats and dogs. He loves to play with toys , especially toy mice. He carries them around in his mouth . He has an amazing personality and will very easily win you over!

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
