My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Virgo!

Virgo is a silly, energetic little guy with a big personality and an even bigger love for attention. He has no problem climbing right into your lap or rubbing against your feet until you notice him—and if that doesn’t work, he’ll happily walk right up to you to ask for some love.

Virgo adores playtime and can often be found chasing balls all around the room, showing off his playful side. When he’s ready to wind down, he loves cuddling with his siblings and would enjoy having another feline friend in his forever home. Virgo would also do just fine with a friendly dog. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate kitten who will keep you smiling and make sure you never feel ignored, Virgo is your guy!

FMAR felines are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for age-appropriate shots, and negative for FIV/FeLV.

More about this shelter

We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter comprised mostly of volunteers. We take in cats and dogs from local shelters and the public who can no longer care for their pets. Each of the volunteers at FMAR has a tremendous amount of love for animals and simply wants to do what they can to ensure that as many animals as possible find a forever home. Until then, each animal has a home at FMAR indefinitely.
