My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I’m Halsey, an 8-year-old, 18lb Cavalier mix girl looking for my forever home! I’m what you might call the perfect package - I’m house broken, friendly to everyone I meet, and I absolutely LOVE my people!

I’m totally chill with sleeping in my crate at night, but let’s be real… my favorite spot is cuddling with you on the sofa! I get along great with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a doggie sibling to play with in the yard. I’m probably best with older, dog-savvy kids.

Just a little heads up - I was found in the middle of a busy road, so I might try to dash out the door sometimes, but I’m a good listener and getting better every day! I’m great in the car and sit perfectly, which makes me the ideal road trip buddy!

I’m an Instafit girl who loves to run and play outside, but when we’re inside? Total snuggle bug mode activated! I’m the best of both worlds - playful when you want adventure, cuddly when you want to relax. Could I be your perfect match?

More about this rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip.

FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
