My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ty, a sweet new arrival with an easy charm and a name that is short, cool, and impossible to forget. Ty just got here and is still taking it all in, so you may notice a little shyness at first. Give this gentle kitty a moment to settle, and you will start to see that warm, go with the flow spirit shine through.

Ty is ready to trade shelter life for the good stuff: cozy blankets, sunny windows, and a human who understands that the best homes come with at least one cat supervisor. With a calm, steady presence and a big heart, Ty will do best with someone who lets trust build at Ty’s pace, then enjoys all the sweet companionship that follows.

If you have been looking for a loyal little sidekick with a big heart and a small, mighty name, come meet Ty and see if this is your perfect match.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
