Hi friends! My name is Nyla ('Nacho' in Korea) and here is some info about me:
PHYSICAL INFO:
RESCUE STORY - I was rescued from a dog meat farm in Gongdeok, Gimje, just moments before the end!! I had witnessed many of my doggy friends being taken away in front of my eyes, which left me deeply afraid of people. When the hoomans first came to rescue me, I was frozen in fear. But then I realized they were there to help me. For this I am very grateful and over time, I have learned to trust and love hoomans, showing them my gentle soul and quiet affection.
TEMPERAMENT - They say I am a gentle and cautious dog who warms up slowly to peoples. I am curious and affectionate with familiar faces, showing my trust through gentle nudges and soft licks. Like most Jindo-mixes, I may be slow to warm up to new hoomans but once I do I really show my loving side! As you can understand, I may be reserved around physical contact, but I am always patient and tolerant when handled. I would thrive in a calm environment where my space and boundaries are respected. I do love to hang around other doggos and although I have a nice, balanced (medium) energy level, I do get excited around food (I love me some treats!).
ENERGY LEVEL – Medium
GETS ALONG WITH:
PREY DRIVE - Unknown. I’m not too sure how I’ll react around squirrels/rabbits etc., so my adopter needs to be prepared and willing to train me through these behaviours, should they arise.
TRAINING:
Please Note: WCP highly encourages adopters to do some research and training on their own before their dog arrives.
HEALTH NOTES:
ADOPTION FEE:
My adoption fee is $728.00 CAD (including 5% GST & 7% PST), which includes my airfare, if a flight volunteer is found directly to Vancouver.

The info included in each WCP bio is provided to us from the international rescuer. WCP does not have in-person access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions, although we ask for video proof of a dog's attributes wherever possible. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person(s) adopting them and the environment in which they live.
WCP is unable to guarantee the accuracy of a dogs age and/or breed. These are strictly "best guesses" based on veterinary exams and their educated estimates.
