Hello! My name is Rosa and here is some info about me:
PHYSICAL INFO:
• Breed: Jindo Mix
• Age: approx 2 years
• Gender: Female
• Weight: 11.5 lbs (5.2 kg)
• Height: 26 cm (paws to top of my head)
• Length: 57 cm (head to butt)
• Current Location: S. KOREA
RESCUE STORY - I was living at the Gimje Shelter, where the conditions were very harsh due to the freezing winter and the risk of infectious diseases. To ensure I didn't have to face that harsh winter alone, some kind hoomans stepped in for an emergency rescue and busted me outta there!
TEMPERAMENT - I am totally a people-lover with a friendly and outgoing personality! You can catch me wearing wigs and playing dress-up as my favourite K-drama character! I am not very shy and I love to be approached by people for pets, cuddles, and attention. I get along well and peacefully with my friends at the center. My energy level is medium and goes up mostly when there are treats or food time! I play along with other dogs but I tend to be more into hoomans. I will play with fellow pups, take a rest, play again, and rest but my rest time tends to be longer than my playing time.
ENERGY LEVEL – Medium
GETS ALONG WITH:
• Kids – Unknown. [Haven’t met children before so unsure how I will react]
• Dogs – Yes, I get along with other dogs at the shelter. As you can see here and here:)
• Cats – Unknown. [Haven’t met cats before so unsure how I will react]
PREY DRIVE - Unknown. I’m not too sure how I’ll react around squirrels/rabbits etc., so my adopter needs to be prepared and willing to train me through these behaviours, should they arise.
TRAINING:
• Leash skills – Work in progress. I do pretty well on the leash! My tail goes up, and I will sniff around my surroundings, but overall I follow the person holding the leash well. I will need an adopter who is happy to work with me on my leash manners. A well-fitted harness and some dedicated leash training will help set me up for success!
• House trained – Work in progress. Frequent potty breaks and positive reinforcement will help me learn housetraining in my new home :)
Please Note: WCP highly encourages adopters to do some research and training on their own before their dog arrives.
HEALTH NOTES:
• I am spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. I will come to Canada with proof of all my vaccines and test records.
• I will be tested for Heartworm etc. before flying to Canada.
NOTE: It is not uncommon for rescue dogs to require dental work/cleaning after they are adopted. West Coast Paws does not cover the costs of dental work and/or vet visits. These costs are the financial responsibility of the adopter.
ADOPTION FEE:
My adoption fee is $840 ($750.00 CAD + applicable taxes) which includes my airfare, if a flight volunteer is found directly to Vancouver.

The info included in each WCP bio is provided to us from the international rescuer. WCP does not have in-person access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions, although we ask for video proof of a dog's attributes wherever possible. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person(s) adopting them and the environment in which they live.
WCP is unable to guarantee the accuracy of a dogs age and/or breed. These are strictly "best guesses" based on veterinary exams and their educated estimates.
