My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Squeakers is a torbie domestic medium hair female who is approximately 2 years old.

Meet Squeakers! Squeakers is exactly what her name suggests, a happy little chatterbox with the biggest heart. Now that her babies are weaned, Squeakers is ready to find her forever family! She’s incredibly friendly and will be the first to greet you with enthusiastic head butts and full-body rubs the second you walk into the room. If you’re around, she wants to be around you. She gets genuinely excited when her people are nearby and makes sure you know it.

Playtime is one of her favorite things, especially when catnip kickers are involved. She’ll bunny-kick them like a pro and then take a break on her beloved cardboard scratcher. And if you bring out a tube treat, you’ve officially become her favourite person in the world.

Squeakers is affectionate, playful, and just really loves being part of someone’s everyday life. She’s the kind of cat who makes a house feel warm and full.

Squeakers would likely do well with other cats and dogs with a proper slow introduction.

Squeakers is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. She is FIV and FeLV negative and on parasite preventions. Her adoption fee is $300. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
