Let’s talk about my greatest love language… FOOD 🍔🌭🥪. I’m a huge fan. If there were a Food Fan Club, I’d be president. I may need one of those fancy slow feeders because apparently inhaling dinner in 4.2 seconds is not ideal. But guess what? That just means I will train like a superstar for treats 🦴. Sit? Done. Stay? You got it. Learn a new trick? Absolutely. What flavor are we working with? 🤤
Now for the honest part: I love people. I really do. I want to trust immediately, but sometimes I get a little cautious at first. If you move too fast behind me or raise your voice, I might cower 🥺. It’s not because I’m not brave. It’s just that my past wasn’t always gentle. But give me a soft voice, patience, and kindness and I melt. I am so, so loving once I know I’m safe. I come when I’m called because being near my people is my favorite place to be 🥹

Approve Application
The adoption application is assigned to screening team and carefully screened. If application meets acceptable criteria it is then approved.

Meet the Pet
Meet and greets are scheduled after an adoption application is approved. All family members and dogs in home must attend the meet and greet.

Sign Adoption Contract
If meet and greet goes well the pet can then be taken home for an adoption trial.

R.E.A.L Rottweiler Rescue was founded in 2003 by a couple with a passion and love for the Rottweiler breed. We are an all volunteer based 501c3 non-profit rescue organization. Our primary focus has been on Rottweilers, but we also rescue medium and large sized dogs of all breeds. We take in homeless rottweilers and work with them in our homes to assess personality, temperament, training and needs. Then place them up for adoption. Our goal is to find not just any home for each dog, but the perfect match for both the dog and its new family. To date, R.E.A.L. has had over 2000 successful adoptions!
