Mealtime is always a highlight — especially when I get a nutritious mix with my favourite seeds! Proper dove care is very important to me. I thrive with a spacious enclosure, daily opportunities to flutter and exercise, a balanced diet, and a patient human who understands and appreciates doves for who we are. The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
