My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Archie is a domestic shorthair grey and white male who is approximately 2 years old.

Meet Archie! This sweet and affectionate boy is a true cuddle bug who loves nothing more than snuggling up beside his favorite people. Archie has a gentle, loving personality and quickly becomes a loyal companion once he feels comfortable.
Like many cats, Archie may take a couple of days to settle into a new environment, but with a little patience he blossoms into the most affectionate friend. Once he’s relaxed, you’ll often find him curled up close by, soaking up all the love and attention he can get.

Archie is also a big fan of the fun things in life! Tube treats are definitely one of his favorite snacks, and catnip toys bring out his playful side. Watching him roll around with his toys or happily enjoy a treat is guaranteed to make you smile.

If you’re looking for a gentle, snuggly companion who will reward your patience with endless affection, Archie might just be the perfect match for you.

Archie would likely do well with another cat or dog friend, with a proper and slow introduction.

Archie is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. He is FIV and FeLV negative and on parasite preventions. His adoption fee is $300. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
