Story
Daphne is a perfect 2.5-year-old cat with a gentle, loving personality. She’s quiet, sweet, and affectionate, occasionally expressing herself with with soft trills. She enjoys calm companionship and forms strong, meaningful bonds with humans she trusts. She truly has a kind and easygoing nature. She likes to sleep in peoples' laps, and occasionally play with her toys (her favorite toys are little crinkly foil balls that she bats around).Daphne had a difficult start in life and spent her first year in a home with other cats and dogs who behaved very aggressively toward her. Because of this, she feels safest as the only pet in a home where she can relax and thrive. In the right environment, Daphne is an incredibly devoted and comforting companion.

Story
She is a rescue and we realized we simply don’t have the time for what she needs. She is very shy. Both my boyfriend and I are in college and planning to apply to graduate school, so we don’t have the time to give her the attention she needs. She is slow to warm up to new people and places so we are looking for someone who is settled in, as we will be relocated a lot and that is not something she adjusts to well. She loves belly and chin rubs! You may have seen her posted before. I got busy with school and unfortunately did not have time to go through the previous applications. That’s why I created a new post for new applications! She does have a hernia that she had under her previous owners (we were not told about this). But when we took her to the vet they told us that it is not painful for her and can be easily fixed when she gets neutered. We have not been able to get her neutered as we are students and travel for research so we have not had someone that could take care of her.
