Story
Meet Patch 🐾 Patch is a beautiful male Basenji, Pit Bull mix who survived the Aspen fire. He was stranded in a field with flames around him when a good Samaritan risked their own safety to reach him and bring him out. That act of kindness saved Patch’s life. Since then, Patch has been passed from one caring person to another. No owner came forward to claim him. A wonderful woman has given him a place to stay, but because of her current circumstances, she can’t keep him. Patch needs someone who can give him a home where he can finally settle in and know he belongs. After everything he’s been through, we would love to see Patch’s story end with a family calling him their own. Could that be you? If you’re interested in adopting Patch, please contact Laws4Paws Rescue through Adopt-A-Pet Patch also needs a temporary foster for 2–4 weeks while we work to find his forever home. Laws4Paws Rescue will provide food, a crate, toys, and all necessary medical care. You can give him the safe place he needs for this next step. Please share Patch’s story. The right person may be just one share away. ❤️

Story
Shemeza is a healthy, well-behaved dog adopted out of the streets of Africa. She is 8 years old give or take. She loves people especially children and is ok with other pets as she does well being boarded. The ideal home for her is one where she can freely go in and out of the house as she loves to sunbathe but has lived in an apartment ok. She loves to play fetch, is mellow and quiet, hauls when excited, is always up for a walk, cuddles and an overall great companion.

Story
Hi, I am an 20-lb., spunky and very sweet, girl! My friend, Janet, and I came out of a hoarding situation in Oklahoma where we were not socialized and were very traumatized. I have been making slow, but steady progress because my foster family has worked so hard to help me learn that I am safe, loved, wanted, cuddles and pets feel good, leash walks are fun, and even strangers and new noises are not terrifying. I love to explore and sniff the backyard, play with Janet, my foster brothers and toys are so much fun! Janet and I are hoping, hoping that there will be a special family to adopt both of us together as I draw strength from Janet since she is a little braver than me. My foster family wants there to be another confident sibling as well in a quiet home where the people and sibling(s) are around a lot help me to continue grow, because I am SO excited to be a dog now!

Story
Hi, I am 19 lbs, long-legged, and guessed to be a Basenji mix (maybe some Chihuahua) and a very sweet girl! My buddy, Jackie, and I came from a hoarding situation in Oklahoma, where we were not socialized and were very traumatized. I have been in my foster home for awhile. I have been making slow, but steady progress, because my foster family has worked so hard to help me learn that I am safe, loved, wanted, cuddles and pets feel good, leash walks are fun, and even strangers and new noises are not terrifying. I am doing a great job of learning to be a dog and I help Jackie be brave, too. I love to explore and sniff the backyard, play with Jackie, and my foster brothers and toys are the bestest! Jackie and I are hoping, hoping that there might be a special family to adopt both of us together. We're also hoping there will be another confident canine sibling, because we LOVE being part of a pack. A quiet home where the people and sibling(s) are around a lot would be wonderful! Finally, as I become comfortable in my new environment, I will be SO excited to show you how much I enjoy being a dog!
