Story
Meet Toby ❤️ Toby is a 1 year old, 43 lb. German Shepherd/Basenji mix with so much potential and so much love to give. This sweet boy is loyal, smart, and ready to grow into the incredible dog he was always meant to be. Toby came to us from a high-kill shelter where he was on the euthanasia list, and now he has a second chance at life—and he deserves someone who will help him feel safe, confident, and loved. Toby can be a little skittish when meeting new people or new dogs, but once he realizes he is safe, his heart opens up completely. Underneath that shy exterior is an affectionate, loving, deeply loyal dog who wants to bond with his person and learn about the world at his own pace. Because he is still young, Toby will thrive with someone who is committed to training, patience, structure, and daily exercise. He is intelligent and eager to learn, and with the right guidance, he has everything it takes to become an amazing lifelong companion. Toby would do best in a calmer, lower-energy home with kids 11 and up. He may do well with medium to large dogs after proper introductions, but he would not be a good fit for a home with cats. Toby doesn’t need perfection. He needs patience. He needs love. He needs someone who sees the brave, beautiful dog inside him and is willing to help him grow. Toby's adoption fee is $295 and he is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. If you’re ready to give Toby the time, training, and love he deserves, apply to meet him today.

Story
Meet Titus — the sweetest little shadow you could ask for! This boy is the definition of a velcro puppy. Wherever you are, that’s exactly where Titus wants to be. Doing chores? He’s your helper. Watching TV on the couch? He’s curled up beside you showering you with kisses. Bathroom trip? Yep… he’ll probably volunteer as your emotional support puppy there too. Titus is a happy, high-energy boy that loves zoomies and gets so excited he’ll bounce around on his back legs like a tiny kangaroo. He’s playful, goofy, and full of personality. Crinkly toys are a favorite, and chewing on his Benebone is serious business. He’s great with other dogs and kids and would love a family ready for adventures, playtime, and lots of cuddles. Titus is currently working on potty training and does really well as long as his people go outside with him — he just likes having his buddy nearby. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend that will love you with his whole heart, Titus is your boy. Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Prue is a 2 year old, 26 pound mixed breed. She can be a cuddly couch potato partner or an eager walk companion. She loves to fetch and wants to please. She would excel in agility training since she is smart, fast, and agile. Prue is shy around strangers, especially men. She likes to burrow under the covers at night and snuggle. She plays well with other dogs at daycare and cooperates with her groomer. Prue would be happiest in a home where she's the only pet. She's privately fostered while she waits for her forever home.

Story
Meet Bailey!Bailey is a young Basenji with beauty, brains, and plenty of spirit! This cute girl is full of energy and curiosity, always ready to explore the world around her. One of Bailey’s most adorable quirks is her habit of hopping around on her back legs when she gets excited, sure to bring a smile to your face.Bailey is sweet, intelligent, and eager to learn, but like many young dogs, she will need continued training, structure, and a patient adopter to help guide her into becoming her very best self. She is still learning good manners, including that people are for loving, not mouthing, so she’ll need help and consistency in learning appropriate ways to play and interact. With love, guidance, and plenty of enrichment, Bailey has all the potential to grow into an amazing companion. If you’re looking for a smart, lively pup to share life’s adventures with, Bailey may be your perfect match! If you are interested in meeting Bailey, the shelter is open Monday through Saturday, 11 am – 6 pm, Sunday 11 am-4 pm (Summer Hours). I am very smart and know how to slip out of my collar, so I should wear a front-clip harness when being walked. I am a little nervous when meeting new people, but friendly. Story
HI - MY NAME IS BRIE! I'm a 10-month-old Basenji mix in need of a foster or forever home. I weigh only 30 pounds! I was rescued from a crowded California shelter along with my brother Franco (he also needs a home), and it was a pretty traumatic experience for us. But I'm now coming out of my shell, and am ready for a foster or forever home. Like many dogs I'll need some time to transition to a new life, but once I do, I'll be your best friend forever. I am a true medium-sized girl and would do great in a quiet home with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. Please email for an application.
