One of Bailey’s most adorable quirks is her habit of hopping around on her back legs when she gets excited, sure to bring a smile to your face.Bailey is sweet, intelligent, and eager to learn, but like many young dogs, she will need continued training, structure, and a patient adopter to help guide her into becoming her very best self. She is still learning good manners, including that people are for loving, not mouthing, so she’ll need help and consistency in learning appropriate ways to play and interact. With love, guidance, and plenty of enrichment, Bailey has all the potential to grow into an amazing companion. If you’re looking for a smart, lively pup to share life’s adventures with, Bailey may be your perfect match!If you are interested in meeting Bailey, the shelter is open Monday through Saturday, 11 am – 6 pm, Sunday 11 am-4 pm (Summer Hours). HI - MY NAME IS BRIE! I'm a 10-month-old Basenji mix in need of a foster or forever home. I weigh only 30 pounds! I was rescued from a crowded California shelter along with my brother Franco (he also needs a home), and it was a pretty traumatic experience for us. But I'm now coming out of my shell, and am ready for a foster or forever home. Like many dogs I'll need some time to transition to a new life, but once I do, I'll be your best friend forever. I am a true medium-sized girl and would do great in a quiet home with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. Please email for an application.

Tell me..... have you ever found yourself lost, hurt and starving??? I mean, it happens to the best of us right? Yes, it happened to me!! :( It was really scary! I was hiding behind a "fireworks" sign on the access road, big TRUCKS on my right side and the railroad tracks on my left! It was "ruff" but not so much anymore ;) I mean, this chick showed up with FOOD and a CAR and a LEASH and COMPASSION..... and she SAAAAVVVEEDDDD ME!! NOW, I have food every day, clean water, protection from the traffic and the weather and LOTS of friends!! I am living the rescue life....pretty soon the rescue peeps told me i will be living the ADOPTED LIFE :) I am a ruggedly handsome boy with an incurable positivity! I am POSITIVE you will see me and LOVE Me and ADOPT ME! So GET BUSY!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

I'm 3 months old & just got out of doggo hospital bc a parvo gave me the ick. Now I'm in a foster home learning how to be a goodest girl for my furever family, healthy and HAPPY!! I like playing with squeaky things and moshing with my foster sister. She's big but I can totally take her down.The cat is kinda mean, but I think I can fix him. I live in the yeehaw state of Texas but it's hot here so I'm up for an adventure if my family doesn't live here. I heard the last foster went to a place with snow. So this is my LOT in life?? Found in a "parking LOT" alone and scared?? No one steps up to love me for life so A LOT of lost promises ;( LOT- TA love to give!! LOT-TA life to LIVE :):) And just like that, my LOT in life has DRAMATICALLY IMPROVED!! Yes, i was found in a parking lot, looking lost and alone. A very nice couple picked me up and looked and searched for my "family" only to find them but they have not stepped up for me.... SO, the rescue did!! NOW, i am living in my foster home and am READY for my FUREVER LOT IN LIFE!! that would be YOUR FAVORITE FRIEND EVER!! I am super smart and LOVE to learn new tricks and commands.
