Mars was a rescue from a breeder in Asia that was going to dump them when they were only 3 months old. He is very calm, gentle, and sweet guy. Loves to eat, walks well on leash, and does fine with other dogs. He is a bit shy to start but warms up quickly and would love to follow wherever you are. SF Bay Area adoption only.

Scotty is a very sweet, loving, calm basset hound. He was abandoned by his owner in Asia as they discovered that he has some deformity in his front legs. His joint buckles as he walks but that doens't slow him down in anyway. He's able to walk, run, and go up/down the stairs just fine! He walks well on leash. Loves to eat and he does well with other dogs and loves people. SF Bay Area adoption only.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Six-year-old Mosho is a friendly, happy boy. He arrived with his pal, Cleo, but they can be adopted separately. They came from a home with children. Because Mosho tends to jump on people, which could frighten, or knock over a very young child, Mosho is recommended for older children, or adults. Mosho is an adept and determined counter-surfer, which his foster home is working on! Mosho gets along well with other dogs of his size, or larger. He does not seem to like small dogs. Mosho tends to guard high-value food and treats, such as bones, from other dogs, but, supposedly, he is not particularly possessive of his regular food, and his owner reported no guarding behavior with humans. Mosho is potty-trained and is up to date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. He has a dental appointment in early April. Mosho would be great with older kids or an older couple. He would be fine in a home with a doggie playmate of his size, or larger, or as an only dog. This gorgeous hound was born to love and to be loved, and he takes his purpose seriously. He wants nothing more than to cuddle (preferably next to you on the couch, as much as possible), and is a perfect gentleman. He doesn’t bark, doesn’t drool, doesn’t jump on people, and doesn’t beg; he enjoys going on walks (just not too far, please), and is great on a leash, never pulling. He loves everyone he meets, has been great with children we’ve seen him with, and gets along well with other dogs (we’ve been told he’s also good with cats too). He’s in great health, though his back can be a little stiff, particularly when he first wakes up; a house with no stairs would be best for him. Ulysses is completely house trained and enjoys sleeping on his own dog bed nearby “his people” at night. It’s believed that he’s between 6-7 years old. Initially timid, Cleo has really warmed up and has become more outgoing in her foster home. Her previous owner mentioned that Cleo is afraid of men, but since there are no men in Cleo's foster home, we can't be sure whether that is still the case. Cleo and Mosho came from a home with children, but because Cleo tends to jump on people, which could frighten, or knock over a very young child, she is recommended for older children, or adults. Cleo is an adept and determined counter-surfer, which her foster home is working on! Her previous owner said that Cleo gets along well with other dogs, but has fought with another dog over high-value food and treats, such as bones. She is, supposedly, not particularly possessive of her regular kibble and her owner reported no resource guarding behavior with humans. Cleo is potty-trained.
