Story
Scotty is a very sweet, loving, calm basset hound. He was abandoned by his owner in Asia as they discovered that he has some deformity in his front legs. His joint buckles as he walks but that doens't slow him down in anyway. He's able to walk, run, and go up/down the stairs just fine! He walks well on leash. Loves to eat and he does well with other dogs and loves people. SF Bay Area adoption only.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.18-month-old Barkley is an energetic boy who is very hesitant at first when meeting other dogs and people, and then is full-on happy!  He's of smallish size and loves attention and to be close.  Barkley is crate trained, and, in fact, supposedly spent much of his puppyhood in a crate, which might account for some of his shyness. He is loving his newfound freedom in his foster home. Barkley is not housebroken yet, so he will require a home willing to train him and that will allow him lots of freedom and gentle exposure to new things. Barkley seems to derive confidence from the presence of another dog, so a home with a confident doggie buddy is preferred, but not required. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 8, 2026, 5:25 pm

She has a stunning red-and-white coat with no black, soulful eyes, and the gentle presence of a dog who truly just wants to be loved. This girl is super chill, affectionate, and easy to live with. She thrives on couch cuddles, quiet companionship, and simply being near her people. Bonnie has a wonderful temperament and is going to make an exceptional companion for someone looking for a laid-back, loyal hound. She’s doing well in foster care, settling into life as a cherished pet instead of a tool — learning that she’s safe, adored, and finally allowed to just be a dog.
