He’s currently around 30 pounds and will likely fill out in the 35–38 pound range once he reaches a healthy weight. Everything about him—from his long Bassett body to his gorgeous droopy ears to that one charming knobby knee—makes him an irresistibly endearing companion. Snoop Dogg has the temperament of a dog twice his age. Instead of the constant curiosity you might expect from a Beagle, he carries himself with a calm, unhurried Bassett spirit.
