Story
(DOB 11/01/2018) Charlie, the bundle of fun and energy that’s ready to bring joy to any home! This playful guy is all about having a good time whether it’s running through the sprinkler on a hot summer day or chasing leaves in the back yard in the fall!  Charlie’s also super smart and knows a lot of commands, making him an eager learner. His cuddles are top-notch, and he’s a master of giving sweet, gentle kisses and deep, loving stares right into your eyes. He’d thrive in a home with a yard, or with an active family who’ll keep him moving if they live in an apartment. He’d make an excellent addition to a family with one or two other dogs, though he’d be just as happy being your one-and-only best buddy. We think he'd do great with kids, too! Charlie is playful, loving, and just plain fun—if you’re looking for a happy, energetic companion, he’s your guy! Charlie has a big personality in a compact size (~40lbs), especially when it comes to his interest in those other furries called cats! If he spots a cat, he’s very interested in giving chase, so be aware when you are out and about. He is also still mastering walking on a leash and still pulls but  working on it. Charlie sleeps in his kennel, and he has a nice cushy bed which he doesn't chew. If you have a fence yard and you let Charlie out to romp, run around, play and goof off, know he loves to dig. Keep him busy otherwise he could get into some mishchief. After a long and lovely romp, he likes to chill out in a big, comfy bed on his cot. Are you looking for a guy just like Charlie? Then get your application submitted! As part of Charlie’s $300 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet little boy, you can email  Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Charlie, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##2239684##

Story
Rambo & Siblings Rambo and his siblings were born in late October to a sweet mama who appears to be a Beagle–hound mix weighing about 25 pounds. At just three months old, these pups are already tipping the scales between 19–24 pounds, so we’re guessing dad was a bigger boy—but his breed remains a mystery. These puppies may be some of the softest you’ll ever touch, inside and out. They’re affectionate, gentle, and doing great with kids and other dogs, and they’re just beginning to learn about cats. Like all puppies, they’re fun, energetic, and full of curiosity, so they’ll do best with families who understand the time, patience, and love that puppy ownership requires. Their foster families are already working on crate training and potty training, giving them a great start toward becoming wonderful family dogs. Apply at: apsofpc.org under the Adopt tab Adoption fee: $300 The adoption fee includes: • Up-to-date vaccines • Puppy deworming • Microchip • Rescue discount for spay/neuter at our partner vet in Person County If you’re ready to add puppy love (and a little chaos!) to your life, Rambo and his siblings are ready to meet you.
