Meet LuLu, a sociable, energetic 10-year-old beagle/shepard mix. Her favorite things are people (especially kids), car rides and walks. LuLu is well loved by her owners and was raised as an indoor dog, but because of family circumstances, she is currently living outside. She misses her daily human interaction and would thrive with a family that can spend time with her, take her on car rides and daily walks. Although diagnosed with hip dysplasia, but this does not dim LuLu’s outlook on life or her ability to take short walks. Her owners are looking to rehome her to a family that will be able to provide for her needs and give her lots of love and attention. Meet Janis! Janis is a spunky Beagle mix! She is crate-trained and house-trained. She loves to play tug-of-war or fetch and zoom around to get out some energy. She also loves to be in your lap and give kisses! One of our favorite silly things about Janis is she likes to walk into and wrap herself up in blankets (and curtains if you let her)! After being adopted last summer as a puppy, Janis was returned to us a few months later, very fearful and with reactivity to dogs. Janis has been working with a trainer and has made tremendous strides in the last few months. Her trainer and foster parents are very happy with her progress and confirm she is ready to find her forever home. Janis is a vocal gal who will let you know if she is nervous or excited by barking loudly. While we are working on this behavior with the trainer, Janis is a Beagle mix and will likely always be pretty vocal. She is a smart pup who quickly learns commands and is eager to please. Her perfect home would be with someone who is committed to continuing regular and consistent training with her. Due to her reactivity around other dogs, she would do well as a solo dog but could likely co-live with a dog in the future with continued training. She has experience co-living with cats and wants to play with them. She does well with assertive cats who will put her in her place. She would do best in a home without small children. Everyone meet Piper! She is a medium sized puppy who is full of love and sass - she could chase a ball endlessly while also being your best cuddle buddy! She is very smart and learning her puppy manners well, she lives to please! She has adjusted exceptionally well to a cushy home life and is getting along well with her doggie playmates.
