Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Charlotte — a true gem of a dog and the ultimate couch-potato cuddle bug! At around 2 years old and 47 lbs, Charlotte is the perfect blend of calm, sweet, and low-maintenance. She came to us pregnant, lovingly raised her puppies, and now that they’re weaned and she’s been fully cleared by our vet, Charlotte is finally ready for a family of her own. Charlotte enjoys short bursts of play but is mostly happiest curled up next to you on the couch or perched by a window watching the birds. She’s potty trained and leash trained. She would do best in a home with someone who is home a lot, especially while she settles in and builds confidence in a new environment. She does not do well with crating and will need a home where she is not confined to a crate. Charlotte is very dog-friendly and would thrive in a home with another dog for companionship. She finds comfort in canine friends, and as an only dog her foster could see her potentially developing separation anxiety simply because she bonds so deeply. Charlotte hasn’t lived with children, but she’s incredibly chill and non-reactive, even when her foster gently tested ears and tail handling. She could do well with respectful kids. She does have a high prey drive when it comes to squirrels, birds, and critters, so she’s not a good fit for a home with cats. If you’re looking for an easy, affectionate, low-maintenance companion who wants nothing more than to be near her people, Charlotte will be an incredible match. She’s a loyal, loving girl who will make someone very, very lucky. Piper has the longer legs of a Lab compared to some of her littermates, giving her a unique and charming look. She’s currently working on her potty training in her foster home and is making great progress. This little girl can be a bit shy at first, but once she warms up, her loving and gentle personality shines. She’s a sweet, cuddly pup who just needs a little reassurance and patience to blossom. If you’re looking for a precious young pup with a soft heart and tons of potential, Piper might be your perfect match! Medical Notes: Spayed before adoption. Story
Meet Shautae!  This shortstack of sweetness wants your help finding a forever family. Shautae, we we affectionately call Taetae and Shorty, is an absolutely adorable mixed breed with an estimated birthday of 09/01/2020. There has been some debate amoung our staff about what breed she is, but we have settled on a Pointer-Basset hound mix, weighing in aroudn 45lbs. What Shorty lack in height, she more than makes up for in her loving personality. Shorty makes friends as easy as pie, and you'd be hard pressed to find someone who wasn't charmed by her tiny little legs. If you were to ask our staff about some of Taetae's favorite things, they would probably tell you how much she loves to lounge in the sun! This beautiful girl will take every chance she can get to lay out on one of her beds in the sunshine and catch some rays. Shautae also loves the company of other dogs, but as always we require a meet and greet if you already have any at home. She is suited to a home without cats. Shautae does great with kids around 10yr and up, but younger kids tend to stress her out, so a home without little ones is best.    Interested? Call us at 615-446-7387 ##2172428##

Story
Viola is a beautiful soul that we think is about 3 year old  and a Beagle mix girl. This black and white beauty with adorable speckled legs and a sweet She only weighs 20 lbs and has the sweetest smile and absolutely loves people. She was found as a stray that was taken to the shelter very scared and almost shutdown while there. Her human mother died and Viola is now 5 years old. Unfortunately we don’t really know her story, but we feel there is some trauma there in her past. It takes her a little bit to get used to people and even longer for dogs. She wants a safe place to observe (wire crate suggested)  till she figures it out. Her foster kept her behind a gate and her bed was her safe place. For a few days she would growl through the gate at the other dogs but after that it was over. We would leave the gate open and she would venture out and if she got nervous she would go back to her safe place. She is never ugly to the other dogs at her foster and  if one of the Chihuahuas was mean to her,  she just ignored her. We have her using puppy pads because there is  no fenced yard. Viola would definetly need a fenced yard so she can safely explore and have potty breaks. The outdoors makes her nervous still. She loves her people immensely and adores  kids but older ones are best.  If you want to help and REALLY rescue a dog them Viola would be forever indebted to you.   If you are interested please email at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Meet Raymond, a remarkably handsome 3-year-old Beagle mix with a gentle heart and an old soul. At 44 pounds, he’s the perfect medium-sized companion—big enough for warm hugs, small enough for couch cuddles. Raymond’s world has recently been turned upside down. His loving family—mom, dad, and a busy, affectionate two-year-old toddler—lost their home due to financial hardship. As they move in with relatives, Raymond isn’t allowed to go. Through no fault of his own, this sweet boy will be homeless starting Thanksgiving. Critter Cavalry stepped in to give him safety and a promise: we will find this special dog the family he deserves. And make no mistake—Raymond is pure family dog magic. He adored his toddler, patiently soaking up loud giggles, sticky hands, surprise hugs, and busy playtime. His gentle nature and steady temperament make him a uniquely trustworthy companion for children and adults alike. Raymond is also wonderfully trained. He knows how to sit, shake, come when called, and crate up when asked. He loves playing fetch—bringing the ball back every time with a proud little smile—as if his greatest joy is simply making his people happy. He walks beautifully on leash, is fully housebroken, and has the most polite manners. If Raymond were human, he’d be the dad grilling in the backyard, cheering at kids’ soccer games, fixing squeaky doors, and making sure everyone in the house feels loved and safe. That’s just who he is. He doesn’t understand why he lost the only family he’s ever known—especially right as the holidays approach—but he’s handling it with grace, sweetness, and so much hope. Everyone who meets him says the same thing:  Everyone loves Raymond. He will give his whole heart to the family willing to give him a fresh start. If you’d like to welcome this incredible boy into your home, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
