Story
We acquired little Ruby from Petland in Knoxville in June 2026. Though she was born 3/6/2026, and is now 7 months old as of October 2026. We have made the tough decision to rehome her as we have recently moved for work and are preparing to welcome our first baby to the family. As a result we are not confident in our ability to provide Ruby with the training, attention, and dedication she still needs as a young and energetic pup. She is a very sweet, loving, playful, and increasingly intelligent dog that would be a great addition to any family looking for a new buddy for life. We would prefer she go to a family with kids or other dogs for her to play with. She has a lot of energy so she would be best suited for a home with a fenced in yard or a good amount of land to roam. Before we moved, she lived on half an acre with two other doggies and a cat and absolutely loved adventuring around and playing with the other animals. She is a certified pedigree & we have her papers

Story
🐾 Meet Rudy! 🐾 Rudy is a goofy, lovable 40-pound Basset/terrier mix with wiry hair, a big personality, and some seriously adorable short Basset hound legs! 😂 He may be low to the ground, but he has plenty of personality packed into that unique little package. Rudy does have some separation anxiety, so he would be happiest in a home where he can spend lots of time with his people. He’s the kind of guy who would be thrilled to accompany you on all of life’s adventures, or simply supervise whatever you’re doing around the house. ❤️ Rudy also has a high prey drive, so he needs a home without cats or small dogs. He can absolutely have a canine companion, but his new buddy should be around his size so everyone can safely enjoy life together. If you’re looking for a fun, quirky companion with a great sense of humor and the cutest little Basset legs around, Rudy is ready to meet you! 🐶💕 His adoption fee is $150. Rudy is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines and flea/heartworm prevention. New Leash dogs are to be primarily indoor companions with supervised playtime outside. 🐾 Come meet Rudy and see if this short-legged goofball is your perfect match!

Story
Chance looking for his second chance  Meet Chance Some dogs are given a name that fits them perfectly, and Chance is one of them. This sweet 5-year-old Beagle mix received his name because he was given a second chance at life—and he has embraced it with his whole heart. Chance came from a hoarding/ animal abuse case where his owners were consequently arrest, arrested.  Despite everything he's been through, Chance has never lost his love for people. His tail still wags, his eyes still light up when he sees you, and he still believes that his forever family is out there waiting for him. Chance is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. He loves attention, enjoys spending time with his people, and has a gentle, loving personality that makes it impossible not to fall in love with him. He is a little on the chubby side at 56lbs and loves to be a couch potato, though we have put him on an exercise regimen and a diet. Chance is currently heartworm positive, but that doesn't define who he is. He is receiving treatment and deserves the comfort of a loving home while he completes his journey to recovery. His future is bright, and all he needs now is someone willing to give him the love and security he has always deserved. Chance was given a second chance at life. Could you be the one to give him his second chance at a forever home?  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  October 6, 2026, 6:55 pm

Story
Everyone loves a Beagle and Kenny B  is no exception to being a Beagle that especially needs love and some much needed personal guidance.  This 3 year old Beagle boy is 26 pounds and pretty much ALL Beagle.  But he needs someone to color inside the lines and shape him into an exceptional fellow that we know he is capable of being.  He was found as a stray with his brother Dean and at this stage of life he is a blank canvas that needs polishing and molding.  Kenny B is healthy and thankfully heartworm negative.  True to form this boy is full of energy and lots of hunting instincts that cannot be denied.  His mind and body and tail are always busy wagging and exploring his outdoor environment.  Fortunately despite being abandoned and found as a stray, this boy is friendly with humans, kids and other dogs are welcome new friends to discover for him.  This  boy Kenny B can accept AND give love generously and without hesitation.  And of course he needs a fenced yard that he cannot escape.  He will test you at first on that fencing thing but you as the human are smarter than him.  Secure the yard well and then no problem.  He is good on a leash and knows the sit commands only. You can continue and teach him more, which we know he will learn quickl  Beagles are a man's best friend in life.  Kenny B  has the potential to be the truest friend you might ever have in life.  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Let us know where you live so that we know if you are in Tennessee where he is fostered or if we must transport him to the northeastern corridor of state on our transport van.   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
