He is easy to handle, friendly, and wonderfully relaxed, making him a great companion for both first-time and experienced dog owners. Hank is a smart boy who is crate trained and enjoys having a cozy space of his own. He’s incredibly affectionate and loves being close to his people — one of his favorite things to do is gently rest his head on your neck for extra snuggles. Despite his Basset-inspired look, Hank will surprise you with his voice — instead of the traditional howl, he has a cute little “poodle-style” bark that perfectly matches his playful personality. Meet Shautae! This shortstack of sweetness wants your help finding a forever family. Shautae, we we affectionately call Taetae and Shorty, is an absolutely adorable mixed breed with an estimated birthday of 09/01/2020. There has been some debate amoung our staff about what breed she is, but we have settled on a Pointer-Basset hound mix, weighing in aroudn 45lbs. What Shorty lack in height, she more than makes up for in her loving personality. Shorty makes friends as easy as pie, and you'd be hard pressed to find someone who wasn't charmed by her tiny little legs. If you were to ask our staff about some of Taetae's favorite things, they would probably tell you how much she loves to lounge in the sun! This beautiful girl will take every chance she can get to lay out on one of her beds in the sunshine and catch some rays. Shautae also loves the company of other dogs, but as always we require a meet and greet if you already have any at home. She is suited to a home without cats. Shautae does great with kids around 10yr and up, but younger kids tend to stress her out, so a home without little ones is best. Interested? Call us at 615-446-7387 ##2172428##

It’s been said that “good things come in small packages,” and we couldn’t agree more! Our favorite 20lb beagle, Vivienne is officially ready to find her forever family! Vivienne is about 8 years old and is absolutely precious. Don’t let the number 8 fool you, she still has plenty of energy and life left! Vivi loves every human , even the tiny ones. She currently lives with a 2 year old human foster, and two big dogs, who she gets along great with! Vivi is house-trained and kennel-trained, she will go in on command, and sleep through the night without a peep- okay well maybe some snores. She does have some separation anxiety but her fosters have been working on that, and Vivi has made amazing progress. Viv loves to spend her days roaming the backyard, and protecting you from squirrels. Because she’s a hound and her nose has a lot of work to do, she would do best with a secure fence. She enjoys long naps on the couch and walks to the fridge. The ideal home for this sweet girl would be with someone who is patient and understanding. We aren’t sure what Vivi went through, but she didn’t have many kind hands petting her, so she can be nervous at first. Vivi would do best with another dog to help her continue to build her confidence.

He loves being outside exploring and soaking up fresh air, but he’s just as happy relaxing indoors with his people. Because of his love for outdoor time, Saint requires a physically fenced yard where he can safely explore and enjoy his surroundings. Saint is crate trained and does great with dogs of all sizes. He’s social, easygoing, and would fit in well with a home that has other canine friends. He’s still working on perfecting his potty training, but he’s already off to a great start. When Saint needs to go outside, he’ll excitedly jump up and ring the bell by the back door to let you know — such a smart boy! If you’re looking for a friendly, fun-loving Beagle with a sweet personality and lots of potential, Saint could be the perfect addition to your family.
