Story
Silly Lil Stella is a young, perfect sized, medium girl that has the best smile and the most fun personality.  This white nugget is believed to be a Beagle/Greyhound mix who is only 18 months old and 34 pounds.  Stella is super cuddly and loving and looks much smaller than her weight suggests.  She is light and wispy and easy to have on your lap and does so well with other companion dogs and cats in the home.  She is housebroken and crate trained and was found as a stray that needed a helping hand.  She would be a great companion for a single person or young couple or even empty nesters.  She will need physical exercise outlets daily and would thrive learning new commands and dog manners.  If you are interested in this girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  April 29, 2024, 9:05 pm

Story
My name is Rex and I am sure that you stopped to check me out because of my handsomeness and wonderful Beagle breed. I am about 5 years old, 31 pounds and I have been a hunting dog for an older man that doesn’t want his dogs anymore.   There are 3 of Us that need a loving home and not an outside kennel.  I am shy at first because honestly, I haven’t had much love or kind pats On the head during my life. I have sort of been expected to perform when the man wants to go hunting and that hasn’t been that Often.  The rescue got me updated on Shots and heartworm tested and microchipped and dewormed and neutered at their own expense.   After I have lived in a home with young busy children, I have decided that I really want to just be in a quieter environment with some mature teens and adults or just some calm adults!  I adore the dad in the home for sure and my mom is fine but I really have decided that I want to not live with the young children under the age of 10 years.  I get a headache.  So hopefully if you are a Beagle loving person and know all the great qualities of my breed, we can come up with a plan for you to adopt me! I am good with other dogs and people if they give me a little time.  The rescue people are insisting that I have a home with a secured and physical fenced in the backyard.  That is pretty reasonable for my Beagle heritage.  Here is the Email that you can write to and ask for an application and any further questions.  ccrtennessee@gmail.com ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
This small, 20 lb Beagle girl is called Ruth Anne and she's everything you want in a dog.  At just 2.5 years, this girl and her sister were found as a stray by a good Samaritan who took them both home.  We love her rich coloring and sweet demeanor.  She gets along great with other dogs, is playful but still low-key and honestly is not a barker.  Ruth Anne has so much to offer any type of family.  She fits in well anywhere and doesn't seem to have any issues to overcome.  If you are interested please email directly to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 29, 2024, 9:05 pm

Story
Sweet Willy came from a home where he and 9 other Beagles were chained to garbage cans their entire lives. Taken off the chains only when the owner hunted with them. Willy had the worst situation of them all, his garbage can was so small that her couldn't even stand up in it! His back was so sore when he arrived that it took him a week or so before he could comfortably run and play with the gang. He was chained up like that for 10 YEARS! Willy is the sweetest boy you will ever meet and just needs a home where he can live out his days with lots of love and good care. He is very healthy, heart worm negative, crate trained microchipped and ready for his forever home. Could that be you? Please give him a chance! ADOPTION FEE $200

He’s very easygoing, loves everyone, and would be the happiest little man just to snuggle with you all day long. He’s not a fan of being in a crate, but being an older guy, he’s perfectly content snoozing away on the couch until you get home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 30, 2024, 9:46 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Three sweet beagles were dumped at a boat dock in a rural area where there is no animal shelter. Sadly, only two were caught. We believe these boys are brothers who appear to have been raised together. While we believe Henry would be ok without Hank; we think Hank needs Henry. These guys are not without health problems, but are so sweet and deserving of a loving home for their golden years. Henry has a grade five heart murmur. However, the echocardiogram shows he does not need meds at this time. Since he will at some point need meds, an adopter needs to plan for that. Hank has had surgery for a hernia and there is still a small one, but that is not a concern. We are just wanting to be transparent. Additionally, Hank is a very shy boy. Don’t take that in the wrong way; he is as sweet as he can be, just lacking in confidence. Consequently, he needs Henry as he is his one constant source of comfort. Hank and Henry have been in an indoor and outdoor kennel and still need some work on house training. They must have a fenced yard. Both boys dearly love spending nice days outside “together.” The highlight of their day is a leisurely leash walk with their foster mom. They get so very excited! While these guys are not without issues, they are so very deserving of a bright future as pampered pets.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 30, 2024, 9:46 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Precious little Bradford was pulled from a shelter so we have no info on his past, but he clearly was neglected. Once examined at our at our vet, we learned he was heart worm positive. These past few months he has been in a loving foster home as he underwent his treatment. While he is still a shy little guy, he has made such progress. When he first arrived at his foster home, he would only sleep on the floor, but he has learned to love a soft bed, gentle cuddles, and soft affirming words. He has greatly improved with house training, but still wears a belly band some of the time. Bradford needs a securely fenced yard so he can safely sniff and use his beagle nose. He needs an adopter willingly to give him time to adjust to his new home. After all, prior to coming to Proverbs, he had a rough time.  This little guy is a small loving boy and so deserves an exceptional forever home. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 30, 2024, 9:46 am

Story
Hello Future Family! Until two months ago, I lived my whole life with one person. But then she had to go to the hospital, and she can't take care of me anymore. Now I'm looking for someone to give me all the love that I'm missing! I love to go on walks and run around outside. My favorite thing is to bathe in the sun, usually with my favorite stuffed toy in my mouth. I am house-trained and I do great when left alone, though I definitely prefer someone who spends most of their day at home! To apply, please complete the foster application at www.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/PSTR/Dog -- this is the foster application. We ask potential adopters to complete a 1 week foster trial period, after which you will be able to adopt Hershey if you want!

Story
Hey there- I’m Snoopy. I know not a very creative name for a beagle but I was surrendered to the shelter with that name and ALIVE kept my name so I felt comfortable. My foster mom calls me nothing but a snuggle bug in the house. I love to spend the afternoon lounging in my favorite comfy chair. When I get outside, however, I’m a true beagle whose nose rules everything. I live to sniff around and chase the scents. I also make the cutest beagle noises when excited. I have learned a lot so far in my foster home. I know sit, shake, and up-for a treat of course. I also do well on a leash and don’t mind my crate at all. If you love little guys with long floppy ears, a huge brain, the desire to please and a lust for long naps, I’m the dog for you.
