Chance looking for his second chance  Meet Chance Some dogs are given a name that fits them perfectly, and Chance is one of them.This sweet 5-year-old Beagle mix received his name because he was given a second chance at life—and he has embraced it with his whole heart. Chance came from a hoarding/ animal abuse case where his owners were consequently arrest, arrested.  Despite everything he's been through, Chance has never lost his love for people. His tail still wags, his eyes still light up when he sees you, and he still believes that his forever family is out there waiting for him. Chance is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. He loves attention, enjoys spending time with his people, and has a gentle, loving personality that makes it impossible not to fall in love with him. He is a little on the chubby side at 56lbs and loves to be a couch potato, though we have put him on an exercise regimen and a diet. Chance is currently heartworm positive, but that doesn't define who he is. He is receiving treatment and deserves the comfort of a loving home while he completes his journey to recovery. His future is bright, and all he needs now is someone willing to give him the love and security he has always deserved. Chance was given a second chance at life. This beautiful purebred Beagle girl called Brittany is our pride and joy to offer to a Beagle loving family. Her story is sad and one that will make you sad and mad all rolled in to one roller coaster of emotions.  A young newly wed couple were driving from their home in Chattanooga, on their way to a honeymoon in Nashville, TN.  Out of the corner of their eye while driving, they saw a truck pulled over and pushing this girl out onto the side of the road and then drive away.  They owned two dogs of their own and it broke their heart to see such meanness.  She was in a desperate situation.  They pulled over and took her in to their car and then started making calls to shelters and rescues in the Nashville area where they were destined to arrive in a few hours.  They got Critter Cavalry on the phone and we stepped up to take her in immediately and we would make sure she had a future family who would never do such a horrible thing as to abandon her.  What we have found out with Brittany is that she is a happy and inviting girl who loves to play with other dogs and who loves to spoken to with kindness.  She craves love which we are sure she got little of before.  Her fav game is to chase a ball.  She is young as in probably a year or  2 at the oldest and she weighs 26 pounds.  She is being spayed 10/23 and has already started her shots and worming.  She is picture perfect if you want a Beagle or small dog that is not tiny but resilient and fun and loving.  We know she loves couches and dog company for playtime and hanging out. She’s housebroken and will definitely need a fenced yard to keep that Beagle nose safely within sight of your back door. Carson is a happy little guy who loves everyone and gets along great with other dogs. Carson is playful, housebroken, snuggly, likes to play with toys and would love a family to call his own again. This little guy is part Shih Tzu part.... Bassett?? A short, stocky little man for sure. Don't let those little legs fool you though, he likes to run and play with the big dogs.
