He and his mom came to me when they got evicted for breeding in the rental, his mom and siblings adopted out quickly. For whatever reason no one really took a shine to him. He eventually got adopted out, once, but he had pink diarrhea the first night from the transition stress and it scared the adopters so they returned him. I have a soft spot for him so I didn’t really make an effort until now to search for his forever family. He’s a really easy and gentle tempered dog. He gets along with everybody and everything, though he is at times shy around new people, especially when he’s in a new environment too.

You gotta love this senior!! - SUNNY SIDES got her name as she is so positive and happy despite her ordeal. This hound mix is bursting with love despite her previous living conditions. Sunny side was found tied to a fence and had a bladder full of stones. She has had the necessary surgery to remove the stones and recovered well. She is on a prescription urinary diet, but no longer suffers from bladder incontinence and takes no other medications. She is nearing 13 years old, around 25 lbs, is fully house broken and manages to get those stubby little legs through the dog door. She would love nothing more than to be your best friend. She loves milling around the neighborhood investigating scent trails. Sunny Sides walks very leisurely on a leash, but she is vocal when she sees other dogs. She is a hound after all! She is passionate about being by her human’s side for a good long snuggle. Sunny Sides gets along with other dogs in her foster home and is up to date on her vaccinations and heartworm prevention medication. We pray hard that she won't be in foster care for very much longer. She's been with us for at least 6 months. Please give this senior the love and security she deserves for the rest of her life. Her adoption fee is $250 and includes the vet exam, vaccinations, rabies and tick prevention, microchip, heartworm test and preventatives.

Delta, Looking at her pictures, you'd never know she came in looking like a train wreck. This poor dog lived on the streets for years and she sure looked it when she came in. Those days are behind her now and she is ready to roll on to the next chapter. Delta is a around 6 yrs old and weighs close to 50 lbs and she is very true to her breed. She is a stubborn Basset Hound who will keep you laughing every day. We enjoy her antics around here and love watching her and her boyfriend Mack play. Delta was treated for heartworms and is currently being treated for Chagas disease. Don't let that worry you.... she is doing great and strong as a bull. She is doing great on treatment! She gets along best with male dogs but can coexisit with male or female if its the right dog.   Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip   Breed listings are our best guess, based on appearance.

Brutus is a 1- year old large mixed-breed dog. His mother was a beagle mix; father is unknown. He was adopted as a puppy from a rescue. He is great with children, very affectionate, and enjoys being close to people. Once his energy needs are met, he can be calm and cuddly. He is house-trained, Kennel-trained, neutered, and knows basic commands. Brutus is energetic and needs regular exercise and structure. Without enough stimulation, he can become destructive indoors. He has shown aggression toward other dogs, especially male dogs, and would do best as the only pet. Due to limited space, multiple pets, and growing family demands, his current home can no longer meet his needs. Rehoming is to ensure Brutus can thrive.
