Story
Tina is a 42 pound, 9 year old basset-hound mix. She is an independent lady. She loves sunbathing, walks, and napping on the couch. If she’s in the mood, she’s down to cuddle up with you. She also makes an excellent doorbell. She loves to play with other pups. But she needs her space and downtime. So it is preferred that she be the only dog in the house. Or that her roommate be as chill as she is. She loves to meet new people, especially to lick them. But after an hour or so, she likes to chill on her own. Apart from occasional barking at squirrels, you can find her alternating between napping on the couch and going outside to sunbathe for most of the day. She does love her daily walks. She doesn't pull much. Tina does not do well in a high energy environment (aka young children or animals). Tina is looking for a quiet home where she can get lots of sunbathing in, and couch time to live out her golden years. We are located in Austin TX and can deliver her in the Central Texas area.

Story
Have you ever met a cat-dog? Look no further than Lowrider Tina! Tina is an independent lady. She loves sunbathing, walks, and napping on the couch. If she’s in the mood, she’s down to cuddle up with you. Squirrels are her arch nemesis. She barks at them whenever she gets a chance. She also makes an excellent doorbell, barking at the Amazon delivery person, so you will always know when your package has arrived! She loves to play with other pups. But she needs her space and downtime so needs another dog that will respect her space and cues. Tina is the definition of a chowhound. She will eat pretty much anything and will do whatever you want if there’s a treat in your hand.Tina is looking for a nice quite home where she can get lots of sunbathing in, and couch time to live out her golden years.

Story
Luigi Linguini: The Meatball Has Entered the Chat If youre looking for a calm, dignified gentleman keep scrolling. If youre looking for a short-legged celebrity with a built-in comedy routine, welcome to Team Luigi. This basset hound/bulldog mix has already won over social media with his ridiculously cute face, tiny little legs, and larger-than-life personality. Luigi is equal parts adorable, hilarious, and completely convinced that every day is the best day ever. Luigi loves his morning walks, is already great on a leash, and is highly food motivated. Have snacks? Youre basically his soulmate His favorite thing in the world, though, is other dogs. He would absolutely thrive with a playful canine buddy and wed strongly prefer a home with another young to middle-aged dog. Luigis energy level is best described as feral bowling ball, which might be a little overwhelming for a senior dog looking for peace and quiet. When hes not zooming around making everyone laugh, Luigi has a sweet snuggly side and is happy to curl up beside you for hours. Hes also been left alone for a few hours without any destructive behavior. No chewed baseboards, no shredded bedding, just one tiny poop as a reminder that hes still a young guy learning the ropes. Because Luigi is still very much a puppy, he can be bouncy, mouthy, and a little wild when hes excited. Older kids (around 8-10+ years old) who want a playful partner in crime would likely have an absolute blast with him. Luigi is funny, affectionate, social, and impossible not to love. And judging by the attention hes already getting online, we have a feeling applications are going to fly in. So if youve been thinking about applying, consider this your sign Get those applications in now before someone else scoops up this little meatball! Because we at ABR are fully committed to ensuring the pups have the life they deserve with the best possible families, we DO have some requirements for their future family: MUST have at least one other suitable dog in their new home Must have kids OLDER than six (if any) MUST have all dogs/pets in the home spayed or neutered Additionally, our puppy adopters must agree to bring their Puppy to an ABR-sanctioned training program for puppy classes (at a minimum). Story
Delta, Looking at her pictures, you'd never know she came in looking like a train wreck. This poor dog lived on the streets for years and she sure looked it when she came in. Those days are behind her now and she is ready to roll on to the next chapter. Delta is a around 6 yrs old and weighs close to 50 lbs and she is very true to her breed. She is a stubborn Basset Hound who will keep you laughing every day. We enjoy her antics around here and love watching her and her boyfriend Mack play. Delta was treated for heartworms and is currently being treated for Chagas disease. Don't let that worry you.... she is doing great and strong as a bull. She is doing great on treatment! She gets along best with male dogs but can coexisit with male or female if its the right dog.
Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip

Breed listings are our best guess, based on appearance.

Story
Available in TX only! King is a one year old Basset Hound/Lab mix with a gentle soul and a laid back nature. He is still gaining confidence and can be scared of new things, especially loud noises, but once he feels safe he settles in nicely. When he gets excited he can be a little jumpy, though most of the time he is calm and easygoing. King truly enjoys running around the yard, going on walks, and soaking up outdoor time. He has a playful side and loves playing fetch with frisbees and balls. Tug of war is another favorite game, and he is a big fan of chew time. Knuckle bones, hard chew toys for power chewers, and anything he can safely gnaw on make him very happy. King is crate trained and house trained, which makes him an easy addition to a home. King does have a prey drive and enjoys chasing squirrels and frogs, and he will chase cats, so a cat free home is recommended. He also has a sensitive stomach and does best on sensitive stomach dog food, as treats like milk bones do not agree with him. King would thrive in a patient, understanding home that will give him time to build confidence and continue showing him the world is a safe place. With love and consistency, he will be a loyal and loving companion To apply directly for King, push the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-751 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy’s team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).
