Luigi Linguini: The Meatball Has Entered the Chat If youre looking for a calm, dignified gentleman keep scrolling. If youre looking for a short-legged celebrity with a built-in comedy routine, welcome to Team Luigi. This basset hound/bulldog mix has already won over social media with his ridiculously cute face, tiny little legs, and larger-than-life personality. Luigi is equal parts adorable, hilarious, and completely convinced that every day is the best day ever. Luigi loves his morning walks, is already great on a leash, and is highly food motivated. Have snacks? Youre basically his soulmate His favorite thing in the world, though, is other dogs. He would absolutely thrive with a playful canine buddy and wed strongly prefer a home with another young to middle-aged dog. Luigis energy level is best described as feral bowling ball, which might be a little overwhelming for a senior dog looking for peace and quiet. When hes not zooming around making everyone laugh, Luigi has a sweet snuggly side and is happy to curl up beside you for hours. Hes also been left alone for a few hours without any destructive behavior. No chewed baseboards, no shredded bedding, just one tiny poop as a reminder that hes still a young guy learning the ropes. Because Luigi is still very much a puppy, he can be bouncy, mouthy, and a little wild when hes excited. Older kids (around 8-10+ years old) who want a playful partner in crime would likely have an absolute blast with him. Luigi is funny, affectionate, social, and impossible not to love. And judging by the attention hes already getting online, we have a feeling applications are going to fly in. So if youve been thinking about applying, consider this your sign Get those applications in now before someone else scoops up this little meatball! Because we at ABR are fully committed to ensuring the pups have the life they deserve with the best possible families, we DO have some requirements for their future family: MUST have at least one other suitable dog in their new home Must have kids OLDER than six (if any) MUST have all dogs/pets in the home spayed or neutered Additionally, our puppy adopters must agree to bring their Puppy to an ABR-sanctioned training program for puppy classes (at a minimum).
