Story

In a world where everyone is always in such a rush, I prefer to take my time and savor every moment. I believe slow and steady wins the race, and that`s why I`m not one to rush into anything. But don`t let my laid-back attitude fool you - once I get to know you, I can be the most loving and loyal companion you`ve ever met.One of my favorite things to do is go for walks that lead to new smells and adventures. It`s like every step is a new opportunity to explore the world and discover something new. And if you really want to get my attention, just bring along some tasty treats. I can`t resist a good snack!Believe it or not, I`m a lot smaller than you might think. But what I lack in size, I make up for in heart. And when it comes to riding in a car, I`m an absolute pro. I love feeling the wind in my fur and watching the world go by outside.Ask anyone who knows me and they`ll tell you what a good boy I am. I walk beautifully on a leash and always listen to the humans that I know and trust. I may be slow and steady, but I`m also reliable and trustworthy - a true friend for life. So why not take a chance on me and let me show you what a wonderful companion I can be?

Story

Paco is approximately two years old and is an incredibly loving, loyal, affectionate, and sweet-natured dog. He is gentle, friendly, playful, social, curious, and very devoted to the people around him. Paco loves unconditionally and enjoys being close to his family. He loves going for walks, spending time outdoors, and visiting the dog park. He is very good with children and gets along very well with other pets. Although he has not been trained to do tricks, he has a wonderful personality and is happy, trusting, cuddly, and easygoing. I am looking for a loving and caring home where Paco will receive plenty of attention, affection, companionship, and opportunities to enjoy the walks and outdoor time he loves so much.

Story

Meet Nubs! Nubs was rescued from the ACS euthanasia list earlier this year. He’s approximately 2 years old, updated on all shots, neutered, great with kids, other dogs and cats. He is missing his front left paw and his front right paw is slightly deformed but that doesn’t stop him! He’s just a little clumsy. 😅 Unfortunately one of our 3 dogs cannot get used to him. He constantly attacks him, leaving Nubs terrified. We’ve tried everything we could but our hands are tied as our work schedules have changed and it’s stressing out all of our animals. Unfortunately, it seems like Nubs has had a difficult start to life, he does take a little bit to feel comfortable and safe but once he does his goofy personality comes out. We feel like he’d thrive in a household with other animal siblings (who are sweet to him) but most importantly just someone to smother him with pets, treats, patience and love. He’s such a sweet boy and we want the absolute best for him.

Quarantine up 5/28 SEE ALL OUR AVAILABLE DOGS ON OUR WEBSITE: www.TracysPawsRescue.org ☀️ Meet Sunny! ☀️ Sunny is an adorable 28-pound Basset Terrier mix who is about four years old and as sweet as can be. Sunny is more comfortable with her canine friends than she is with people, but give this girl a little time and patience and she will begin to trust you. Eventually, she’ll come up on her own and happily accept some pets. Because she finds so much comfort and confidence in other dogs, we believe Sunny would thrive in a home with a canine companion. She does wonderfully with all kinds of dogs… even the rambunctious ones who sometimes forget about personal space! She is patient, respectful, and incredibly tolerant. Sunny has been an absolute model camper during her time with us. She’s gentle, sweet, and just needs a family willing to let her settle in at her own pace. If you think Sunny might be the right fit for your family and would like additional information about her, please let us know. ❤️ If you would like to add this cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: • Chagas Testing • Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate) • All age appropriate vaccines • Heartworm and flea and tick preventatives • Spay and neuter surgery • Microchip The age, breed or breeds listed are a best guess and based on the dog’s physical appearance. Whether you’re adopting from Tracy’s Paws or another group in the south, please familiarize yourself with Chagas Disease…It’s more prevalent than HW disease.
