She can be a little shy when first meeting new people but give her some space and time—sit down with a tasty snack and you will find her standing next to you, looking at you with those sad puppy hound eyes—and you’ll quickly win her over. Once she feels comfortable, her playful personality truly shines through! This sweet girl loves to follow her nose, explore her surroundings, and has a great time playing with other dogs, doing zoomies, throwing toys around and surprisingly, she did great and passed the cat test here at the rescue! Celine would love to be your loyal, affectionate companion whose always ready for walks so she can use that hound nose, but more importantly she wants stability and her very own home. Delta, Looking at her pictures, you'd never know she came in looking like a train wreck. This poor dog lived on the streets for years and she sure looked it when she came in. Those days are behind her now and she is ready to roll on to the next chapter. Delta is a around 6 yrs old and weighs close to 50 lbs and she is very true to her breed. She is a stubborn Basset Hound who will keep you laughing every day. We enjoy her antics around here and love watching her and her boyfriend Mack play. Delta was treated for heartworms and is currently being treated for Chagas disease. Don't let that worry you.... she is doing great and strong as a bull. She is doing great on treatment!
